A man was found dead of a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the AMC 12 on Olive near Lindbergh around 11:45 p.m. By Stephanie Baumer
CREVE COEUR, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Major Case Squad is investigating after a man was killed outside of a Creve Coeur movie theater late Sunday night.
Police say 28-year-old Ned Booker, of University City, (seen above in his driver's license photo) was found dead of a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the AMC Creve Coeur 12 Theater, located in the 10400 block of Olive Boulevard, around 11:45 p.m Sunday.
Witnesses told police they saw at least one person shoot the victim and flee the parking lot in an unknown vehicle towards Olive Boulevard. Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.

The movie theater remained closed Monday as police continued their investigation. Any guest who had purchased tickets to a Monday showing will have their money refunded, the theater chain said in a statement. No other details have been released.
