Robbery suspects pull knife on victim near Tower Grove Park

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police are investigating after two robbery suspects pulled a knife on a female victim just after midnight in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.

Authorities responded to the incident in the 3100 block of Morgan Ford around 12:13 a.m.

According to a police report, the victim stated that she parked her car and was retrieving an item from the back seat when she felt someone push her from behind. The victim turned around to see a suspect grab her purse. 

The victim pushed the suspect away from her and the suspect retrieved a knife and pointed it at her, threatening her. 

The suspect then grabbed the purse again, breaking the strap, and ran through a nearby alley. 

The second suspect then approached the victim, but fled through the alley after the victim yelled for help. 

Police say that suspects are both male, one approximately 5'5" to 5'7", medium build, and the other approximately 5'7" to 5''9", with a stocky build. 

No other details were immediately available.
