(KMOV.com) - A pre-school parent is angry over what she says was an attempt to cover-up an incident at a St. Louis schools in which her daughter was touched inappropriately by another student.
Angie Wash tells News 4 the incident with her 3-year-old daughter happened on Monday at Laclede Elementary. She said a 4-year-old student touched her daughter while she was in a bathroom stall. Wash says she only found out about the incident on Tuesday from other students.
“I had to find out today from a three year old in her classroom, neither teacher called me, the principal wasn't even aware of this," she says.
A spokesman for St. Louis Schools says they are aware of the incident and they’re looking into what happened. The district also said if someone fails to report an incident such this one, that person is usually suspended.
