BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis County Police Department delivered a truck full of donations to the St. Louis Area Foodbank Monday morning.
During the unrest in Ferguson, the donations came in to feed and supply officers while they worked around the clock shifts and while they monitored protests.
The leftover supplies will be donated to the Foodbank to help the neediest people in the area.
The St. Louis Area Foodbank provides food to families in both Missouri and Illinois and works with agencies which cover 26 counties.
