ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A woman was shot early Saturday morning in north St. Louis, but is listed in stable condition.
The 34-year-old victim was uncooperative with police and said she was shot while standing outside in the 1700 block of McLaran at 12:56 a.m.
Witnesses said the victim walked outside and they heard numerous gunshots. The victim re-entered the residence and advised the witnesses that she had been shot. She was taken to a hospital and treated for gunshot wounds to the stomach and a graze wound to the head.
The investigation is ongoing.
