St. Louis County man sentenced for drug trafficking

ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV) -- A St. Louis County man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for drug trafficking.
Paul E. Scheffler, 34, formerly of Arnold, was found on Jan. 14 in Jefferson County with more than 30 grams of methamphetamine.
Scheffler pleaded guilty to felony drug trafficking and felony drug possession. On Dec. 15, He was sentenced to seven years for the trafficking charge and four years for the possession charge. The two terms are to be served concurrently, or at the same time.
Scheffler may be released early if he successfully completes a 120-day treatment program.
Scheffler also is facing felony drug charges stemming from a June 26, 2014 incident in St. Louis County. Scheffler was allegedly found with items commonly associated with the manufacturing of meth, along with drug paraphernalia.
