FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Ferguson Commission will be hosting a special meeting on Saturday for anyone between the ages of 14 and 24.
The commission wants to better understand the issues facing young people in the area. The commission wants to know what it takes for young people to grow, thrive and learn in their community, including understanding what is happening at home and school that could be holding them back.
Saturday’s meeting will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Florissant Valley Community College.
Gov. Nixon created the commission to address the “social and economic conditions” highlighted by protests after the death of Michael Brown.
