ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) - DNA evidence is now linking a man in prison to a rape investigation that has been open for 22 years in St. Louis City.
Gary Turner, who is already serving 50 years for robbery, attempted robbery and sodomy, is now linked to the rape that investigators say took place when he was 14-years-old.
Investigators say Turner took a gun to a 16-year-old girl and raped her in a stairwell.
DNA left on the victim's clothes linked Turner to the crime.
