COLUMBIA, Il. (Mizzou Football App) - Mizzou junior defensive end Shane Ray, who was named a consensus first team All-American in 2014, has declared for the NFL Draft, according to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Ray was to announce a decision Tuesday, but was forced to delay the decision after inclement weather kept him in Boston.

Ray set the single season sack record at Mizzou with 14.5 and has grown from a 3-star recruit coming out of high school into a possible first-round and top-ten pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Ray is the third consecutive junior defensive lineman from Mizzou to declare for the draft, joining Sheldon Richardson (2014) and Kony Ealy (2013), whom were selected in the first and second rounds of the draft.
