EAST ST. LOUIS, Mo.(KMOV.com) -- Police in East St. Louis said Thursday that the 5-year-old girl who was believed to be missing with her mother was actually at a relative's home.
The East St. Louis Police Department is, however, continuing their search for the girl's mother, Tylisha Tracy, 22, who has been missing from the East St. Louis Call for Help Transitional Center since Dec. 24.
Tracy also has not reported back to her place of employment at RockTenn in Edwardsville.
After news reports aired about the girl missing, family members called police to tell them Tracy dropped her off at their home in late December.
According to court records, Tracy is currently facing a felony charge of aggravated DUI in St. Clair County.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the East St. Louis Police Department at 618-482-6767.
