Webster Groves Police search for teenage carjacking suspects

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Authorities are searching for two teenagers accused of using a handgun to steal a car late Tuesday night.

Police say the suspects left their dark colored older model SUV and approached the victim’s 2007 silver Nissan Maxima in the 10 block of North Bompart Avenue around 10:20 p.m. According to police, the suspect showed a gun and ordered the driver and passenger of the Maxima to get out of the vehicle.

The suspects took the victim’s vehicle along with two Apple iPhones.

The Nissan Maxima was later recovered by the East St. Louis Police Department. 

The suspects are described as black men, who were wearing black hooded sweatshirts at the time of the incident. Police say the suspects appear to be between 16 and 18-years-old.
