Postal worker remains in coma after being hit by car

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) — A suburban St. Louis postal worker remains hospitalized in an induced coma after being struck by a car.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 47-year-old Chrissy Wilson-Mueller was hit Dec. 30 in Kirkwood, suffering brain trauma, several broken bones and a collapsed right lung. She had just finished work and was walking to her car when she was struck.
The 79-year-old driver of the car that hit her suffered minor injuries and was not cited in the accident.
