ST. LOUIS, Mo. ( -- Macaroni Grill closed its doors at all four St. Louis locations, leaving employees out of a job and diners confused.

Rental trucks were loaded up with booths and bar stools Monday morning. The signs at all of four local restaurants were stripped from the buildings.  Chick-fil-a confirmed it will be tearing down and re-building on the Brentwood and South County Center locations.
Employees News 4 spoke with said they felt side-swiped to be laid off during the holidays with no notice.
Macaroni Grill wouldn't confirm how many jobs were lost between the four stores.
Food from the closing locations is being donated to the St. Louis Dream Center. The Chick-fil-A’s will open sometime in 2015.
