ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – An investigation is underway after a 23-year-old woman was carjacked at gunpoint near Grant’s Farm overnight.

St. Louis County Police confirm the woman’s silver Nissan Altima was driving east on Gravois Road when it was rear ended by a suspect vehicle near Sappington Road. When the woman exited her vehicle to exchange information with the other driver, the suspect exited his vehicle and ordered the victim to ground using a silver handgun.

The suspect then took the victim’s vehicle and both vehicles fled east on Gravois Road.

Police describe the suspect’s vehicle as a white older model passenger vehicle. Authorities say there were four black males in the suspect vehicle at the time of the carjacking.

The victim told police she believes a witness drove past her at the time of the incident but did not stop. Police are unsure if it is connected to a similar incident that happened in Kirkwood Dec. 26.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the St. Louis County Police Department or Crimestoppers.
