KUTTAWA, Ky. (AP) -- Federal investigators are at the scene of a plane crash in western Kentucky that killed four people and left a 7-year-old survivor.
The remains of the Piper PA-34 plane will likely be moved on Sunday to a location so officials with the National Transportation Safety Board can inspect the wreckage.
NTSB investigator Heidi Moats said Sunday at a news conference that the agency would issue a preliminary report on the crash in about 10 days. Moats did not address any possible causes of the crash.
The plane went down Friday night in Lyon County, killing a married couple, one of their children and a teen relative. Their daughter, 7-year-old Sailor Gutzler, survived and walked through woods until she found a home where she got help.
