ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Two women from Lincoln County are facing methamphetamine charges.
Police said they received multiple complains about a residence in the 1000 block of Kamp Road in Moscow Mills where meth may have been being manufactured.
Police said that upon arrival and prior to making contact with the homeowner, narcotic investigators could smell a strong odor of ammonia emitting from the rear of the home.
Police said after receiving consent to search the home, they found a trash bag on the back porch of the residence full of methamphetamine making materials. Police then went into a bedroom and found filters, meth manufacturing materials and several used and active “shake and bake” bottles, police said in a news release.
Jaqueline Smith, 44, and Megan Hupp, 20, were both arrested and charged with Felony Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Both are currently housed at the Lincoln County Jail subject to a $25,000 cash only bond each.
