(KMOV) – A former Wood River police officer accused last summer of soliciting sex in change for helping a woman is now being sued after another woman says he sent her sexually suggestive text messages.
Jeremy Elliot, 33, was charged with one count of felony official misconduct.
According to the lawsuit, Elliot obtained the woman’s phone number and used a cell phone to send her the messages over a several-week period.
Elliot was charged in another case last August after he allegedly told a 29-year-old Wood River woman he would assist her with an investigation in exchange for sex. Elliot was on duty at the time.
