(KMOV.com) – Another municipality in St. Louis County is contemplating the possibility of banning texting and driving.
Kirkwood’s city council will considered the idea Thursday night.
The ban would restrict driving and texting, no matter what the age.
So far Manchester, St. John and Florissant have banned texting and driving.
Currently in Missouri, only drivers under the age of 21 can be ticketed for texting and driving.
Illinois has a statewide ban unless the phone is hands-free.
