(KMOV.com) -- Volunteers turned out Friday to help give O'Fallon Park a promising feature.
They spent the day working with the organization "Unlimited Play" to build a universally accessible playground.
"Unlimited Play" playgrounds are fully accessible for children with disabilities. They're designed to encourage side-by-side play with other children.
The St. Louis area already has four of them. The one in O'Fallon Park should be ready by July 12. Another is being build in Willmore Park in south St. Louis.
