(KMOV.com) -- Customers are furious following a recent fuel mix-up at a gas station in south St. Louis County.

Since this story aired Wednesday night on News 4 at 10, several more people have come forward to say that this fuel mix-up happened to them too.

Daniel Ray of Columbia, Illinois says his 2008 Ford Focus shut down Tuesday after he filled up at the Circle K Shell station on Telegraph Road.

Doug Schmidt posted on the KMOV.com Facebook page that Klemm Tank Lines is the company handling the claims from customers who ended up with diesel in their gas tanks instead of regular unleaded.

Klemm Tank Lines told Schmidt that 2,600 gallons of diesel were pumped into the unleaded tank and 2,000 gallons of unleaded were pumped into the diesel tank.

Right now, over 50 people have come forward saying that this mix-up has damaged their vehicles.

If you need to file a claim call 1-800-236-1155 ext. 1112.
