(KMOV) -- Two people are dead and two are seriously injured after a domestic dispute in Winfield, Missouri.

This all started at a home along Highway Y just outside Winfield. That's where authorities say 55-year-old Garey Fain shot his roommate, 55-year-old Earl Binder.

Authorities say Garey Fain then went to his ex-wife's home in the 300 block of East Cherry. She has been identified as 33-year-old Liza Fain. Garey Fain allegedly shot her and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Joseph Klos.

There were three young children inside of the home at the time of the shooting, but officials say they were not harmed. A neighbor tells News 4 that a nine-month-old girl, an 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl lived in the home.

When Winfield police arrived, they confronted Garey Fain. Police said they told him three times to drop his gun. Garey Fain refused and police shot and killed him.
Liza Fain was airlifted to Barnes-Jewish Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Both Klos and Binder are hospitalized in serious condition.
