(KMOV) --The Missouri Attorney General is pushing to overhaul the state's domestic violence laws.
Chris Koster announced Tuesday a list of proposed changes along with a leading advocate in the fight against domestic violence.
Officials say it's been 30 years since the state set up the laws and there are flaws and gaps in both the laws and the system.
One concern is that there is not even a consistent definition statewide of what is considered "domestic violence".
