Four people injured in recent rash of shootings

(KMOV.com) -- Police are investigating a recent rash of shootings that left four people injured and one man in critical condition.

A man is in stable condition following a drive by shooting in Wellston, Missouri.  The shooting happened around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday in the 6500 block of Etzel.

According to police, the victim was walking down the street when a vehicle pulled up and someone in the passenger seat started shooting.

The 33-year-old victim was struck in the leg.  He was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.  Police said they are looking for two male suspects.

Another man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head in North St. Louis.

That shooting happened in the 4200 block of Randall Place on Sunday, just before noon.  The man was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Police said they do not have any suspects, but the investigation is ongoing.

About a half-hour later, shots rang out at the corner of Natural Bridge Road and Union in North St. Louis.

Police said two male victims were shot.  Police did not say where the men were shot, but they are expected to survive.
