Postal workers ask for residents help in delivering mail

(KMOV) – Postal workers say they are doing their best to deliver mail, but they need residents’ help.

Letter carriers are told not to risk a car wreck or a fall when the path to a mailbox is not clear.
If workers were not able to deliver your mail today, they will try again tomorrow.

The postal service reminds residents to keep walkways, steps and porches clear of ice and snow.

If you have a curbside box, clear enough snow for mail trucks to approach the boxes. You should also get rid of snow and ice on overhangs.
