(FootballStL) -- St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will not start against the San Francisco 49ers. Bradford is sidelined after he re-aggravated an ankle injury last week against the Arizona Cardinals.
A.J. Feeley will make his third start this season. Feeley has a touchdown and interception and has thrown for 392 yards and completed 54.7 percent of his passes this season.
Bradford participated in only a half of the team drills as a precaution on Wednesday, but the healing process went "backwards a little bit" for Thursday's practice, according to head coach Steve Spagnuolo. Bradford was considered to be day-to-day following Friday’s practice.
“I feel alright,” Bradford said after Wednesday's practice. “The ankle is a little bit sore today, but other than that for Week 13 I would say the body feels pretty good right now.”
Bradford has been sacked 33 times this season which is one shy of the sack total from all of last season.
