EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Three people who were injured in a quadruple shooting in East St. Louis Monday evening have been released from the hospital.
Police said a 68-year-old woman was driving home in the 1200 block of 42nd Street just before 6 p.m. when she was struck by a bullete. Three men were also shot in their home as they were watching TV.
Police did not believe the home was the shooter’s intended target.
The woman and two men were taken to an area hospital and released Tuesday morning. The third male victim was treated on scene.
Police on Tuesday said they still did not have anyone in custody.
The motive behind the shooting was still unclear.
