Illinois man arrested for two robberies

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOV) – An Illinois man was arrested Thursday for robbing a BP Amoco station and Little Ceasar’s Pizza.

According to police, Raymond Hibbler, 20, of Belleville, Ill., was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, a class X felony, one count Attempted Robbery, a class 3 felony, and one count of burglary, a class 2 felony.

Last month, police say Hibbler and another suspect went to the Amoco Station at 1301 S. 74th St. in Belleville, Ill. and inferred a weapon to the clerk before demanding money from the cash register.

The two suspects fled the scene on foot.

On April 17, Hibbler participated in a second robbery, and broke into the Little Ceasar’s Pizza at 4 Bellevue Park Plaza in Belleville, Ill., where he busted a glass door out with a brick and took multiple items.

Bond for Hibbler has been set at $300,000.
