Police searching for woman accused of robbing south St. Louis Walgreens

ST. LOUIS (KMOV)-- Police are searching for a woman accused of robbing a Walgreens at 7339 Gravois in south St. Louis Monday.

Authorities said the suspect approached the cashier, produced a note demanding money and after the clerk complied, the suspect left the store. 

No one was hurt. 

The suspect is described as a white female, 30-40 years old, 5’9” to 5’11”, weighing 190-220 pounds. She was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the word “Nike” on the front. She was also wearing tan pants and carrying a black purse.

She kept her hand inside the purse during the robbery. It’s unclear if there was a weapon in the purse though no weapon was seen during the robbery.
