Pujols goes deep with a two-run shot against Nats

(KMOV.com) -- Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols tagged a shot over the left field fence soaring an estimated 435 feet and scoring two runs in the eighth inning.

For Pujols it was his sixth home run of the season.  The shot followed Matt Holliday's first inning two-run homer, increasing the Redbird's lead over the Nationals to 4-0.

David Freese kept things going in the eighth with an RBI double.  Heading into the ninth, Cards 4, Nationals 0.
