(KMOV) – A mother, her two young sons and their grandmother were able to escape a morning house fire.
Flames broke out around 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday at a home in the 1100 block of St. Patrick’s in Cahokia, Illinois.
A neighbor saw the fire and called 911.
Authorities tell News 4 that the two women and two young boys had to jump out of window to escape the flames.
All four were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Officials believe the fire started in the basement of the home, but the cause is still unknown.
