(KMOV) -- Classes are canceled at a North County school after a round of severe weather damaged part of the school.
Part of the roof was ripped off at Christ Light of the Nations in Bellefountaine Neighbors. It happened just before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
An algebra teacher tells News 4 that she was in her classroom when she heard what sounded like a train. She looked out a window and saw large pieces of the school's roof flying off the building.
Not all students had arrived at school yet but there were some in the building. No one was hurt.
The school has about 180 students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade.
Classes are canceled indefinitely.
