(KMOV)--The man arrested connected to Monday's robbery of the First Missouri Credit Union at 1690 Lemay Ferry Road has been charged.
Police have charged Shihab Lewis, 33, with 1st degree and armed criminal action.
Authorities said around 10:48 a.m. Lewis allegedly entered the credit union armed with a handgun and demanded money.
Authorities say that Lewis fled the bank in a vehicle with an undetermined amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
Officer working with the Metro Air Support Unit helicopter were able to locate the suspect's vehicle and take him into custody.
The money and weapon were also recovered in the vehicle.
Lewis is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
