MARISSA, Ill. (KMOV) – After a surge of fast-moving thunderstorms hit the Midwest Friday afternoon, one Illinois town is still without power.

Pea-sized hail fell in Marissa, Ill., where a tree was uprooted and a utility pole was snapped in half, leaving live electrical wires dangling in the air.

A tree was also uprooted on Euclid Avenue after being struck by lightning.

No injuries or serious property damage was reported after the storms.
