(KMOV) -- Crews received a call around 1:15 a.m. Thursday for an odor of natural gas in Florissant.
The odor was smelled in the area of Cougar Drive and Lindbergh Boulevard.
The area in mostly businesses but the particular area was a construction site.
There was no one in the area was evacuated and no loss of service for customers in the area because Lacleade gas was able to get the leak fixed quickly.
Lacleade said that this was a third party contractor working in the area and that they struck a two inch plastic pipe.
