ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The St. Louis Science Center announced that it will lay off 25 employees following a board meeting last night.
The meeting was on the 2012 budget and called for cutting $2 million in expenses.
“There is a variety of things. We have grown over time. We have been responsible with that growth but as things change you have also change and this is an adjustment,” Bert Vescolani, President and CEO, said.
News 4 has been told the average St. Louis Science Center Patron will not notice a change in the day-to-day operations.
