(KMOV.com)- St. Louis man Kevin Young was sentenced Friday afternoon to 18 months in prison for failing to register as a sex offender.
Young, 32, pled guilty and admitted that in October 2009 he was convicted of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Following that conviction he was ordered to register as a sex offender.
He had registered as a sex offender as recently as December 2010 in Illinois, but never updated his registration information to provide his St. Louis home address.
Young will also received 20 years of supervised release following his prison time, and fined $150 and ordered to pay $100 special assessment.
