Illinois man charged for making harassing phone call

(KMOV.com) -- A Troy, Illinois man has been charged with harassment after police said he made a threatening phone call to another person in January.
 
According to police, James L. Rogers, 62, called another man, but didn't speak with him.  Instead, he left a message threatening to kill the victim and his family.  The call was made on January 26th and police were notified of the threat on January 31st.
 
Police obtained a warrant for Rogers arrest on Friday and arrested him at his home.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Madison County Jail.  He has been charged with Harassment by Telephone. 
 
Rogers' bond is set at $150,000.
