(KMOV) -- Sometimes it's tough to be a kid. You can remember that from your childhood days.
Experts tell us it's an even tougher gig these days. Pointing to the fact there are more pressures and more problems.
That's why St.Charles is throwing young people a life line.
The city is teaming up with several social service agencies like "youth in need" to coordinate a help line that will be up and running in mid-February, similar service is already provided in Saint Louis county.
The help line will have someone available to talk 24 / 7.
Those behind it say around the clock help is huge.
Today, you can learn more about the help line. The community council in Saint Charles is hosting a "teen crisis intervention" forum today to help promote the roll-out of the help line. It will be at noon at "old hickory golf club" in Saint Peters.
