(KMOV) -- The flames shooting from a vacant home in East St. Louis could be seen from downtown St. Louis Thursday morning.
Officials said the fire started in a vacant home around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of 12th Street and St. Louis Avenue. Fire officials received multiple calls from motorists stating the flames could be seen from downtown St. Louis.
No injuries were reported and the cause is not being reported at this time.
