(KMOV.com) -- New tornado sirens will be re-tested in St. Louis County. The tests will last all week and will start Wednesday between 10 a.m and 2 p.m.
The warning will start with a "This is only a test" announcement and end with the same message. The tests will last exactly three minutes.
The one minute tests were rescheduled because of poor weather conditions last week. Officials with the County's Emergency Communications Commission are still working to better the regions new 187-siren tornado warning system. The new system was activated last Labor Day.
The regular first Monday of the month test will also occur as scheduled next Monday, February 6th.
