(KMOV) -- Franklin County officers say they attempted to pull over a motorist for a possible license plate violation around 9:15 p.m. near St. Clair when the motorist sped off from the intersection.
The chase started at the intersection of Pond Ford Road and Highway 30. Police say the motorist refused to stop and lead them on a 15 minute pursuit that ran from 80+ miles per hour, to, at the end, 10 miles per hour.
During the course of the pursuit, the subject slammed on the brakes, and the following deputy rammed the suspect's car from behind, as he couldn't stop in time.
The suspect was finally pulled over at Highway 47 and Project Road and he was arrested without further incident.
