(KMOV) – Urban deer hunting is one step closer to becoming a reality for residents in Sunset Hills.
City officials are holding a forum at Sunset Hills City Hall at 7 p.m. to discuss deer hunting by bow hunters to control the deer population.
The city’s board recently gave approval to the measure and will hold a final vote during Tuesday night’s board meeting.
The proposal is aimed at helping control the deer population, which has exploded recently. Under the plan, bow hunting would be allowed within city limits during the hunting season.
