Here are three things I'm looking for Saturday night when the Rams host the Packers:
--Can the Rams defense keep Aaron Rodgers from doing major damage when he plays? He won't have some of his weapons available but he picked the Rams apart last season at the Dome. Can the Rams defense keep him in check?
---Which running back steps up to claim the starter's role? I suspect it will be Daryl Richardson. But there's plenty of time for Isaiah Pead or Zac Stacy or even Benny Cunningham to make their case. Yes, Cunningham. You may not know much about the free agent from Middle Tennessee but he can play. And the Rams believe he can be a very good special teams player.
--Speaking of special teams, they have to improve this week. There was no excuse for the 91 yard punt return last week. And can Tavon Austin give the punt return unit some juice? Can Pead do the same for the kickoff return unit. This we all know--the Rams return game has been null and void for too long.
