(KMOV) – Police have arrested an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man in connection to two robberies in St. Louis.

According to police, the suspects robbed two people in the 5300 block of South Compton on July 15.  The suspects initially took two cell phones, money, lottery tickets, liquor and a wallet from the victims as they were getting out of their vehicle.

The suspects then tried to take the vehicle, but it was a manual transmission vehicle and they were unable to drive it.  They fled on foot taking the keys to the vehicle, but left one of the cell phones and money behind.

The two men are also connected to a July 6 robbery of J.D.’s bar in the 4700 block of Michigan, according to police.

The two suspects entered the bar showing a weapon to the bartender and demanded money.  The suspects also robbed several of the patrons of cash and a cell phone.
