(KMOV) – An inmate who reportedly tricked guards and managed to escape from Jefferson County Jail has been captured.
According to authorities, Stephen Brooks, 43, stole the identity of another inmate scheduled for release on Monday, and was let out of the jail by a correction officer around 6:30 p.m.
