(KMOV) - The frustration and anger over the closing of the Jamieson Avenue Bridge will come to a head.
Alderman Joe Vaccaro has scheduled a public meeting for Tuesday night for people to express their concerns. Alderman Vaccaro tells News 4 he wants to come up with a solution to all the traffic on the side streets.
The city has already banned parking on one side of Ivanhoe between the morning and evening rush hour. Detour signs have also been changed so they are now meant for pedestrians walking.
While Ivanhoe is not a detour route, people continue to use it. One option is to make the street one way until the new bridge is built.
The meeting will be at 5:30 at the Southwest Baptist Church on Watson.
