(KMOV) – Cam Janssen is leaving the St. Louis Blues.

The New Jersey Devils on Thursday signed the unrestricted free agent forward to a one-year, two-way contract.

Janssen became a member of the Blues in 2008 when the Devils traded him to St. Louis.

The St. Louis native had one goal, three assists and 131 penalty minutes in 54 games with the Blues in 2010-11.

A spokesperson for Janssen says he is "excited to be back with the Devils."
