ST. CHARLES (KMOV) – Several teens were arrested Tuesday morning after pulling a senior prank.
According to police, four teens from Francis Howell High School painted their names onto the roadway at the intersection of Route D and 94.
Officers say the teens are facing felony charges because of the amount of money and manpower it took to clean up the mess.
Police say cars passing through the area were splashed with the paint, but crews from MoDOT put a substance over it so that other vehicles would not get damaged.
The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department said painting the roadway in front of the school is an annual prank that soon-to-be seniors pull, but this year's was the worst in history.
