(KMOV) – The Missouri Department of Transportation is giving drivers a sneak peak of the new Jefferson Avenue Bridge.
Designs will be unveiled Tuesday during a presentation at the Residence Inn on south Jefferson Avenue.
This fall, MoDOT will replace the 50-year-old bridge over Interstate 40/64 and build a new one.
Engineers say the new bridge will have higher clearance and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The presentation begins at 4p.m. Drivers will also learn about road closures at the meeting.
