ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A portion of road in downtown St. Louis will be closed for several hours while crews work to fix a water main break.
Around 10p.m. Sunday, a six-inch pipe burst near south 6th Street and Gratiot. The hole is 18 feet deep.
The area around the break has been blocked off.
According to the St. Louis Streets Department, the area will be closed through Monday and at least Tuesday.
Several departments may be called out to see if any other lines were damaged.
